The Reality of Animal Experimentation

Animal experimentation is a harsh reality for millions of animals worldwide. Many of these animals endure unimaginable suffering in the name of scientific research. Munsey's Mission is dedicated to shedding light on this issue and advocating for the rights of these animals.

Every year in the US, millions of animals are used and then euthanized in various laboratory experiments.  The numbers exceed 100 million across the globe every single year.  Species include dogs, cats, mice, primates, rabbits, fish, birds, horses and farm animals.

Probably the most controversial experiments carried out are the MAX PAIN experiments.  This involves procedures that cause high levels of pain and stress to the animal, such as trauma and burn studies.  No pain medication is given as they want to study effects of pain on the animal.

Our Mission to Rescue Survivors

At Munsey's Mission, we are on a mission to rescue as many animals as possible from research labs.  We work tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate animals who have survived their time in research facilities, providing them with a safe and loving environment to live out their lives.
